Platts launches additional European Renewable Capture Prices

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, launches additional European Renewable Capture Price indexes, effective March 11.

The additional prices expand the coverage alongside growing renewable project developments.

Platts Renewable Capture Price indexes track weighted average prices renewable energy generators receive for electricity they produce across a daily period, based on hourly generation and third party pricing data.

The indexes and descriptions are as follows:

These locations will be published in European Power Daily and Platts Dimensions Pro on a daily basis.

Their methodology will mirror the existing locations, as described in the European Electricity specifications guide, which can be found here:
