Subscriber note: Platts confirms suspension of US lube postings

Platts confirms that it has suspended the publication of monthly posted prices for US lubricating base oils with effect from March 1, 2013. The suspension was first proposed on November 13, 2012. As announced at the time, Platts continues to assess the value of lubes on a monthly basis, and these assessments are not affected by the suspension of the posted prices. Platts previously published US posted prices on Platts Global Alert pages 277, 278 and 279, and in the Platts market price database.
