Platts to further enhance aluminum transparency

Effective March 31, Platts will enhance transparency further in the primary aluminum market and is committing to accurately reporting and confirming market information with buyers and sellers on deals heard in the US Midwest Aluminum Transaction price for P1020.

Platts will publish transparent details of transactions reported by reliable sources, including counterparties, volume and price, and will attempt to confirm this information with the counterparties.
