S&P Global discontinues Platts EC Carbon Spot Auction price

S&P Global Commodity Insights has discontinued the Platts European Commission Carbon Spot Auction price, effective March 10, 2022.

The quarterly EC spot auction price was previously used as an input in hydrogen cost of production assessments up to Aug. 2, 2021. It was subsequently replaced with Platts daily carbon pricing data.

The EC spot auction data has been discontinued from the European Exchange Market Data Category.

The following symbol has been discontinued: EC Carbon Auction Spot Qtly PCECB00.
