Beginning March 15, 2010, Platts' regular unleaded, mid-grade unleaded and premium unleaded gasoline assessments for the Chicago market will reflect 9 RVP.
The change is part of a seasonal shift in vapor pressure specifications.
Also on March 15, the beginning of the market's third March pipeline shipping cycle, Platts will launch supplemental gasoline assessments for Chicago unleaded 87, unleaded 89 and unleaded 93, reflecting 11.5 RVP.
These assessments will appear in addition to primary assessments of 9 RVP unleaded 87, 89 and 93.
