Platts to launch new weekly cyclohexane and adipic acid assessments in the US

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has decided to launch weekly DDP US Gulf Coast cyclohexane and FCA US Gulf Coast adipic acid contract assessments, effective April 3.

The assessment will add on to Platts' upcoming launch of the downstream nylon intermediates in Europe and Asia in the same week, as well as the expansive coverage of the global nylon resins market.

The new assessments, to be published in cent/gal for cyclohexane and cents/lb for adipic acid, would take into consideration price information gathered up to the close of the assessment process at 1:30 pm Central time.
