Platts to rename Sunoco crude posted prices

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will rename its Sunoco posted prices for crude to Energy Transfer, effective April 3, 2023.

The update comes after the merger of Sunoco Logistics and Energy Transfer. There will be no change to the publication of the assessment beyond renaming it Energy Transfer.

The Sunoco posted prices are published on Platts Global Alert page 250 and in Oilgram Price Report and North American Crude and Product Scan. They are also referenced as part of the P-5 WTI average.
