Test history files now available for Mar 26 format, date changes

As previously announced, effective Monday, March 26, Platts will make two changes to the exchange futures price data normally delivered between 8 and 9pm NY time:

* Prices will be delivered in decimal (dollars/euros and cents) format, in place of the current integer format.

* As-of dates for volume and open interest values will be aligned with those of the corresponding prices.

Platts will provide adjusted price history to subscribers on request at no charge starting March 26. To request history for the categories your organization subscribes to, please complete and submit the request form at http://plts.co/FuturesPr0312 .

Platts has prepared sample history files in both text (FTP) and comma-delimited (.csv) format for all 22 data categories affected by the changes. These test files are available in .zip format at http://plts.co/FuturesHistoryTest .
