Platts will launch ultra low sulfur diesel, gasoil and jet fuel derivatives trading against the ICE low sulfur gasoil futures contract on its European eWindow system on Friday March 14. The derivatives can already be set up in your portfolio, but bids, offers and trades will only be allowed to take place in the Platts Market On Close assessment process from March 14. Separately, Platts has proposed to launch new assessments for ultra low sulfur diesel, gasoil and jet fuel derivatives trading against the ICE low sulfur gasoil futures contract from May 1. For the period between March 14 and May 1, the derivatives will be able to be bid, offered and traded in eWindow but will not feed into any Platts assessments.
