SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes to change Panamax dry bulk cargo size

Platts proposes to change the cargo sizes assessed for Panamax dry freight rates to 75,000 mt, from 60,000 mt for the following routes effective March 10, 2015:

The proposed change is a result of industry feedback and in response to market changes where charterers are moving cargoes on these routes on larger cargo sizes. Panamax vessels carrying a different volume will be normalized to 75,000 mt.
