Platts changes timestamp and publishing schedule for Asia container assessments March 4

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has changed the timestamp and holiday schedule for its Asia container assessments, to 4:30 pm Indian Standard Time from 5:30 pm Singapore Standard Time and changed the holiday schedule to the India calendar from the Singapore calendar, with effect from March 4.

The change is intended to better capture the concentration of trading activity in the Indian container markets.

Assessments affected by this change are as follows:

Bids, offers, trades and indicative values will only be considered for the assessment if they are received before the 4:30 pm Indian time cutoff.

The assessments are published in Platts Dry Freight Wire and Platts Dry Freight Wire Monthly; on Platts Shipping Alert pages SHP0510, SHP0514, SHP0511, PGT4000, PGT4006, PGT4001, and in the Platts pricing database under the symbol codes above.
