Following a period of market feedback, Platts has determined it will institute a change to include next-day trades done by 1 pm Central Time in the Gas Daily Price Survey beginning April 1, 2016.
The move from an 11:30 am to 1 pm deadline results from North American Energy Standards Board revisions and the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's Order 809 (Docket No. RM14-2) regarding natural gas scheduling.
Platts does not plan to change the deadline for the submission of price reports from 3 pm Central Time. Platts will continue to take into account suggestions from price data providers on that submission deadline following the implementation of the new rule.
