S&P Global Platts launches daily US ethylene FD Choctaw assessments

Please note that S&P Global Platts has launched daily US ethylene FD Choctaw assessments effective March 2, 2020.

These prices reflect the delivery of product in the current month and forward month with a minimum purity of 99.9%. The prices would be published in cents/lb. The assessment reflects material sold on a free delivered basis into the US Choctaw pipeline system in Louisiana. This daily assessment reflects the prevailing market value at 4 pm CST. The minimum volume size is 3 million lb and the maximum volume size is 5 million lb. The prompt- and forward-month assessments will roll to the next month three calendar days prior to the end of the month.

These assessments appear in Olefinscan, Polymerscan, Platts Petrochemical Alert pages 301 and 870, as well as in the Platts price database under the following symbols:
