SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes spec change for Hard Coking Coal assessments

S&P Global Platts is proposing to change on June 1, 2018, the specifications of Platts Hard Coking Coal FOB Australia (HCCAU00), CFR China (HCCCH00) and CFR India(HCCIN00) assessments to:

Platts initially proposed a change in specifications in a subscriber note published on February 8, 2018, but has updated that proposal with new proposed specifications following market feedback.

Based on historical data, Platts evaluates that the proposed new specifications above do not imply a difference in value from the current ones.

Platts invites comments, questions and other feedback on these proposals by March 30.
