Platts amends dirty tanker basket flat rate for UKC-Med 30,000 mt assessment

Following a Worldscale Association update for the UK port of Grangemouth, Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has amended the Worldscale flat rate basket used in the $/mt calculation for its UKC-Mediterranean 30,000 mt dirty tanker freight assessment, effective March 1.

Following the amendment, the new average flat rate for the route is $14.94/mt.
