Platts updates incoterm for European sugar assessment

S&P Global Platts has amended the name of the European sugar assessment 'IPR – 45ic imports in containers – CNF' to 'IPR – 45ic imports in containers – CFR'.

The change, which follows a proposal published on Nov. 27 (https://www.spglobal.com/platts/en/our-methodology/subscriber-notes/012921-platts-clarifies-european-sugar-basis-updates-incoterm), will allow the assessment to reflect the typical incoterm used in the market.
