SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes to add 4 new loadports to LNG freight route matrix

S&P Global Platts is proposing to add LNG freight costs from Bontang, Tangguh, Singapore and Bintulu to the existing listed discharge ports.

As a result, 36 new voyages will be introduced in total to the following destinations: Japan/ Korea (Futtsu), South China/Taiwan (Guangdong Dapeng), West India (Dahej); Southwest Europe (Huelva); Northwest Europe (Zeebrugge); Northeast US (Everett); Brazil (Salvador Bahia);Argentina (Bahia Blanca) and Kuwait/UAE.

These would be published in Platts LNG Daily and on the Platts Natural Gas Alert (PGN) page 1025, from May 1.

The voyage length in days for these voyages are estimated as follows:

The loadport costs assumed are as follows:

Loadport cost (USD) Bontang 90,000 Tangguh 30,000 Bintulu 221,000 Singapore 75,000

The bunker fuel basis for these routes would be Singapore.
