SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts discontinues US CSAPR assessments

Due to a lack of liquidity, S&P Global Platts has discontinued its daily Cross State Air Pollution Rule (CSAPR) assessments.The assessments, which published daily in Coal Trader and Megawatt Daily, reflected prompt year and prompt year +1 prices for sulfur dioxide (SO2) allowances and seasonal and annual nitrous oxide (NOx) allowances. The discontinuation is effective March 1, and affects the following codes: NOx Annual: ENOXY01, ENOXY02 NOx Seasonal: ENOXS01, ENOXS02 SO2 Group 1: ESO21Y1, ESO21Y2 SO2 Group 2: ESO22Y1, ESO22Y2 Please address any questions or comments to coal@spglobal.com and pricemethodology@spglobal.com.
