SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts changes Turkish flat steel methodology

S&P Global Platts has changed the methodology of its Turkey ex-works flat steel assessments from a volume-weighted average index to a Market-on-Close assessment approach, effective March 1, 2018.

Data collection: In order to assess these flat-rolled steel products, Platts will continue to collect a wide variety of transactional and market information through a survey of industry participants, which typically includes communicating with sources via phone, email, and instant messaging.
