SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to average split European aromatics CP settlements

S&P Global Platts has, effective March 1, 2017, revised its methodology on contract price settlement reporting to give it the discretion to average monthly contract price settlements for all European aromatic contracts in the case of split initial settlements.

This follows the decision subnote published on February 1, 2017.

Platts reserves the right to average split contract settlements from there onwards, subject to editorial judgment of market conditions.
