S&P Global Platts has discontinued publishing MF-30 marine residual fuel oil posted prices effective March 1, 2018.
Platts first proposed this discontinuation in a subscriber note published on January 2, 2018: https://www.platts.com/subscriber-notes-details/27902866 Platts was informed by Taiwan's CPC Corporation on December 28, 2017, that the company would discontinue supplying MF-30 marine residual fuel from February 1, 2018, due to limited sales of the fuel.
The posted prices at the ports of Hualien and Suao published under code CB3BC00, for Kaohsiung under code CB3BE00, for Keelung under code CB3BD00 and for Taichung under code CB3BF00 have been discontinued effective March 1, 2018.
The posted prices were published in Platts Bunkerwire and on Platts Global Alert page 2860.
