SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts clarifies HDG Europe and HDG Turkey specification

Platts wishes to clarify the grade reflected in its assessments of hot-dipped galvanized steel in North & South Europe, as well as domestic Turkey.

For North & South Europe ex-works assessments, Platts reflects DX51D, or equivalent. This "base grade" does not include a coating or thickness which are accounted for by individual extras lists.

For HDG Turkey Dom Prod EXW the grade reflected is DX51D or equivalent, with 70g/sqm Zn.
