Platts launches new White River Hub monthly natural gas index

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has launched a new White River Hub (IGBGL03) monthly natural gas index.

The methodology for White River Hub is as follows: White River Hub (daily and monthly market) Deliveries to or from pools or interconnects that make up the White River Hub in Rio Blanco County, Colorado.

Platts currently publishes a daily index for White River Hub and has kept the methodology unchanged for the monthly market.

The new index is effective for trade date Feb. 23, the first trading day of March bidweek.

The ICE White River Hub location is included in the Platts White River Hub monthly index. Due to this inclusion, Platts has ceased republishing ICE White River Hub symbols effective trade date Feb. 23.
