Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to launch weekly DDP US Gulf Coast cyclohexane and FCA US Gulf Coast adipic acid contract assessments, effective April 4.
The proposed assessments would complement Platts plans to expand on coverage of the downstream nylon market chain.
The new assessments, to be published in cent/gal for cyclohexane and cents/lb for adipic acid, would take into consideration price information gathered up to the close of the assessment process at 1:30 pm Houston time.
Details of the proposed specifications are as follows:
