SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts discontinues two Americas petcoke assessments

Following industry consultation, S&P Global Platts has discontinued its weekly FOB US Gulf Coast 5%-6% sulfur petcoke assessment and its weekly FOB Venezuela 4% sulfur assessment effective February 22, 2017.

The discontinued assessments, which were published on Global Coal Alert page 960, in Market Data category CI, and in Coal Trader and Coal Trader International, are as follows: Americas Weekly Spot Price Petcoke Assessments for FOB US Gulf Coast 5-6% Sulfur - CPAGF00 and for FOB Venezuela 4% Sulfur - CPAAD00.

The last date of assessment was February 15, 2017.

Additionally, Platts has discontinued monthly and quarterly averages for FOB Gulf Coast 5-6% Sulfur and FOB Venezuela 4% Sulfur; affected codes are CPAGF03, CPAGFO5, CPAAD03 AND CPAAD05.
