SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes to launch BalMo JKM derivative assessment

S&P Global Platts Platts proposes to launch two Balance of the Month JKM derivative assessments, one with a timestamp of 4:30 pm Singapore time and another with a timestamp of 4:30 pm London time, from April 1, 2019.

Platts is seeking feedback on this proposal by March 8, 2019.

The Platts BalMo JKM derivative assessments would be published each business day and reflect market values prevailing at the close of Asian and European markets, at 4:30 pm Singapore and 4:30 pm London time. All prices would be quoted in US dollars per million British Thermal Units ($/MMBtu) to three decimal places.

Platts would consider bids, offers and trade information for a minimum of five lots (one lot is equivalent to 10,000 MMBtu).
