As part of the seasonal Reid vapor pressure shift in gasoline, Platts' main US Atlantic Coast gasoline assessments will reflect 13.5 RVP beginning March 1, 2013, while supplemental gasoline assessments will reflect 15 RVP. March 7 will be the final day of supplemental assessments for 15 RVP US Atlantic Coast gasoline while the 13.5 RVP will continue to be the main assessment. Platts will again shift its US Atlantic Coast main gasoline assessments to reflect 9 RVP on April 1 while the 13.5 RVP will become the supplemental assessments. April 5 will be the final day of supplemental assessments of 13.5 RVP gasoline while the 9 RVP will continue to be the main assessment. These dates have been determined based on market feedback as well as consideration of current pipeline schedules.
