SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts updates Japan bulk alloys price assessments

Effective February 20, 2014, Platts has amended the specifications and methodologies for two of its CIF Japan bulk alloys price assessments due to changes in market trading patterns in recent years. The assessments previously specified Chinese-origin material, and they have been changed to reflect all origins meeting the specifications and terms. The specifications and terms have also been updated to reflect what has been typical in the market in recent years. The new specification are included in the Metals methodology document at www.platts.com.
