Platts clarifies minimum cetane level for European renewable diesel assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, clarifies that its RD-A and RD-B renewable diesel assessments reflect a minimum cetane level of 70, in accordance with EN 15940 paraffinic diesel fuel specifications.

Cetane levels lower than 70 may be normalized to the minimum basis level.

This clarification applies to the following assessments:
