Low RVP assessments for USAC, basis NYH

Platts is planning to introduce low RVP supplemental gasoline assessments beginning March 1, 2010, for the US Atlantic Coast, basis New York Harbor.

These assessments would include conventional gasolines with 9.0 RVP, and CBOB, Premium CBOB, RBOB and Premium RBOB with 7.8 RVP.

In addition, Platts will introduce supplemental assessments for the Laurel Pipeline, which would be 9.0 RVP conventional grades for all of Pennsylvania except for Pittsburgh.

According to Buckeye, beginning March 16, the carrier will only accept 9.0 RVP conventional 87 octane, 93 octane, 7.8 RVP CBOB, P-CBOB and reformulated grades.

Beginning March 16, 2010, Platts' frontline conventional gasoline will reflect 9.0 RVP, while frontline RBOB and Premium RBOB, CBOB and Premium CBOB would reflect 7.8 RVP.

Platts' Laurel Pipeline assessments would reflect 9.0 RVP conventional gasoline intended for delivery into all locations in Pennsylvania, except Pittsburgh.

From March 16, 2010, Platts will halt its assessment for 15.0 RVP gasolines.
