SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to replace CPC Posted Bunker Term Prices with Posted Spot Prices

Please note that S&P Global Platts will be replacing Posted Term Prices for Taiwan's Chinese Petroleum Corp. bunkers with Posted Spot Prices.

Chinese Petroleum Corp. stopped publicly providing Posted Term Prices for Taiwanese ports with effect from December 29, 2016, which was the last Posted Term Prices published and databased by Platts.

Platts has stopped publishing Posted Term Prices for the Chinese Petroleum Corp. bunkers in Taiwan at the ports of Hualien, Suao and Kaioshung, Keelung, Taichung, effective December 29, 2016.

The Posted Term Prices are published on PGB 2860 and in the Platts Bunkerwire. The codes for the ports of Hualien and Suao for IFO 380 CST is CB3AJ00, for IFO 180 CST is CB1AK00, for Marine Diesel is CBDAA00, for Marine gasoil is CBGAK00, for Marine Fuel Oil MF-30 is CB3BA00 for Marine Fuel Oil MF-80 is CB8BA00. For the ports of Kaohsiung, Keelung and Taichung IFO 380 CST is CB3AK00, for IFO 180 CST is CB1AL00, for Marine Diesel is CBDAB00, for Marine gasoil is CBGAL00, for Marine Fuel Oil MF-30 is CB3BB00 for Marine Fuel Oil MF-80 is CB8BB00.

Platts will discontinue the codes above from April 3, 2017.

Platts also proposes to begin publishing and databasing the daily Posted Spot Price for bunkers from Chinese Petroleum Corp. for the ports of Hualien, Suao, Kaohsiung, Keelung and Taichung from April 3, 2017. This would be for the bunker fuels: Marine Residual Fuels MF-30, Marine Residual Fuels MF-80, Marine Residual Fuels MF-180, Marine Residual Fuels MF-380, Marine Diesel and Marine Fuel Oil.
