SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts starts publishing Caribbean refined product postings from Paria

S&P Global Platts will publish Caribbean refined product posted prices from Paria Fuel Trading Company Ltd, a newly formed state-owned company from Trinidad and Tobago, effective February 15.

This replaces the Caribbean refined product postings from Petrotrin.

The government of Trinidad and Tobago announced in October last year that Petrotrin would be restructured into four companies under Trinidad Petroleum Holding, once the Pointe-a-Pierre refinery shutdown was completed late last year.

The new posted prices from Paria are published under the following new codes in the Platts price database. They are also published on Platts Global Alert page 466, and in Platts Oilgram Price Report and Latin America Wire.
