Change to Platts USAC supplemental gasoline (UPDATE)

Beginning March 1, 2011 Platts US Atlantic Coast gasoline assessments basis New York Harbor will reflect 13.5 RVP supply to reflect seasonal RVP changes. In addition, Platts will publish supplemental USAC gasoline assessments for low RVP (summer season) beginning March 1.

These gasoline assessments will include conventional 87, 89 and 93 octane gasoline, RBOB, premium RBOB, CBOB and premium CBOB shipped on the Buckeye Pipeline system, barges for New York Harbor and cargoes.

It will also include Laurel Pipeline CBOB, premium CBOB, RBOB and premium RBOB. March 10, 2011 will be the final day Platts US Atlantic Coast gasoline assessments will reflect 13.5 RVP for conventional 87, 89 and 93 octane gasoline, CBOB and premium CBOB.

Beginning March 11, 2011, assessments for conventional 87, 89 and 93 octane gasoline, CBOB and premium CBOB will reflect only summer 9.0 RVP.

Additionally, the last day for winter 13.5 RVP assessments in RBOB and Premium RBOB would be April 8, 2011. Summer 9.0 RVP assessments for RBOB and Premium RBOB shipped on the Buckeye Pipeline system, barges in New York Harbor and cargoes will be the main assessments beginning on April 11, 2011.
