SUBSCRIBER NOTE: S&P Global Platts proposes to discontinue six EMEA metals assessments

S&P Global Platts proposes to discontinue effective Monday June 3, 2019 its weekly nonferrous premium assessments of Copper Grade A CIF Rotterdam, Copper Grade A CIF Italy and Copper Standard CIF Rotterdam, and its monthly premium assessments of Lead 99.985% IW Rotterdam, Tin 99.90% IW Rotterdam and Tin 99.85% IW Rotterdam due to changes in the liquidity in the market and thin spot trades.

Platts seeks feedback on this proposal by Friday, March 15, 2019.

The assessments S&P Global Platts proposes to discontinue are:

MMAYR04 for Copper Grade A CIF Rotterdam; MMAOM04 for Copper Grade A CIF Italy; MMAOI04 for Copper Standard CIF Rotterdam; MMAYV04 for Lead 99.985% IW Rotterdam; MMAYL04 for Tin 99.90% IW Rotterdam ; MMAYM04 for Tin 99.985% IW Rotterdam

Alongside these codes, Platts also proposes to discontinue effective Monday June 3, 2019 the associated "all in" prices:

Copper Grade A Cathode CIF Rotterdam, MMALD00; Copper Grade A Cathode CIF Italy, MMAOL04; Copper Russian Standard CIF Rotterdam, MMAOH04; Lead 99.985% IW Rotterdam, MMAMS00; Tin 99.90% IW Rotterdam, MMANT04; Tin 99.85% IW Rotterdam, MMANS04.

The last assessment day would be Friday May 31, 2019 for the weekly copper assessments and Thursday May 16, 2019 for the monthly lead and tin assessments.
