Platts launches Bunkerworld Marine Fuel 0.5%S index

S&P Global Platts has launched the Bunkerworld Marine Fuel 0.5%S Index to complement its existing bunker indices including the Bunkerworld 380 Index, from February 11.

The Bunkerworld Marine Fuel 0.5%S Index provides a global representation for the IMO 2020-compliant grade through a simple average of the daily prices at 17 high-volume ports.

The index is published through the Bunkerworld website. Subscribers are able to request historical values dating back to December 2, 2019, by contacting support@platts.com.
