Platts proposes to discontinue its weekly US dioctyl phthalate assessment due to a change in market dynamics.

Liquidity in the US market for DOP has dropped significantly as substitute plasticizers have become more commonplace.

These assessments are published on Page PCA161 and are listed under the following codes in the Platts price database: DOP FD US Domestic Weekly, PHARA00; Monthly Average, PHARB03.

These assessments are also published in the Platts Petrochemical Alert.
