Platts to replace Chicago 93-Octane gasoline

Platts seeking industry feedback on a proposal to eliminate the US Midwest Chicago premium 93-octane unleaded gasoline assessment and replace it with a premium 91-octane unleaded gasoline assessment on April 2, 2012.

Trading for premium gasoline has shifted to 91-octane gasoline and the only remaining (Wood River) refinery producing 93-Octane is planning to shift to 91-octane in its place.
