Subscriber note: Platts to merge EUA, CER market commentaries

Platts intends to discontinue the separate daily market commentary for UN Certified Emission Reductions as of February 11, due to a reduced requirement for intra-day commentary in this market. Platts will continue to produce independent price assessments for over-the-counter CERs and will include market commentary, where relevant, in the existing market commentary for EU Allowances. The new merged EUA/CER commentary will continue to appear daily in European Power Alert, pages EP392-393 and EP482, and in Platts European Power Daily publication. Platts news coverage of CER markets will not be affected by the planned merger of the daily EUA and CER commentaries, and will continue to be provided through European Power Alert and European Power Daily as well as other selected Platts publications.
