Due to a lack of liquidity, S&P Global Platts will discontinue its daily Cross State Air Pollution Rule (CSAPR) assessments.
The assessments reflect prompt year and prompt year +1 prices for sulfur dioxide (SO2) allowances and seasonal and annual nitrous oxide (NOx) allowances.
The assessments publish daily in Coal Trader and Megawatt Daily.
The discontinuation will take effect March 1, and affect the following codes:
NOx Annual: ENOXY01, ENOXY02 NOx Seasonal: ENOXS01, ENOXS02 SO2 Group 1: ESO21Y1, ESO21Y2 SO2 Group 2: ESO22Y1, ESO22Y2
Please address any questions or comments by February 28 to coal@spglobal.com and pricemethodology@spglobal.com.
