S&P Global Platts will launch a US ethylene FD Choctaw assessment effective March 2, 2020.
These prices will reflect the delivery of product in the current month and forward month with a minimum purity of 99.9%. The prices will be published in cents/lb.
The assessment will reflect material sold on a free delivered basis into the US Choctaw pipeline system in Louisiana.
This daily assessment will reflect the prevailing market value at 4 pm CST.
The minimum volume size will reflect 3 million lb and the maximum volume size would reflect 5 million lb. The prompt- and forward-month assessments will roll to the next month three calendar days prior to the end of the month.
These assessments will appear in Olefinscan, Polymerscan, Platts Petrochemical Alert pages 301 and 870, as well as in the Platts price database under the following symbols:
