Platts alumina assessment for February 2-8

Platts will close its Asia Pacific alumina price assessment process early on Wednesday, February 2, 2011, ahead of the extended Lunar New Year weekend.

The assessment and Market-on-Close process will be basis 12:30 pm Singapore time (0430 GMT).

Platts will not be publishing FOB Australia, CFR China, ex-works China alumina price and freight assessments on February 3-4.

The assessments will resume on Monday, February 7 except for ex-works China, which will resume February 9.
