Following a Worldscale Association update to La Skhirra, Tunisia, port Jan. 18, S&P Global Platts has amended the Worldscale flat rate basket used in $/mt calculations for the Mediterranean to US Atlantic Coast 80,000 mt and 135,000 mt dirty tanker assessments, effective Feb. 1, 2022.
With this amendment, the new average flat rate for Mediterranean to USAC voyages is $15.38/mt.

The affected assessments are as follows:

Clean tanker rates are not affected.
