Subscriber note: Platts updates Russia gasoline, diesel specs

Effective February 1, 2013. Platts will reflect Euro 3 product, with a maximum sulfur content of 0.015% (150 parts per million) in its Russian domestic gasoline FCA Moscow and FCA Ufa assessments. At the same time, Platts will adjust its Russian domestic diesel FCA Moscow and FCA Ufa assessments to reflect Euro 3 product with a maximum sulfur content of 0.035% (350 parts per million). Platts has previously reflected Euro 2 standards of 0.05% (500 ppm) sulfur content for both gasoline and diesel. This update to the specifications in Platts assessments reflects Russian government legislation to lower the sulfur specification for gasoline and diesel on the domestic Russian market.
