Platts sought feedback in July 2011 on expanding the loading port basis for its current Northwest Europe paraxylene, toluene and styrene assessments from the current FOB Rotterdam basis to FOB Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (FOB ARA).
Following feedback provided by industry participants and internal reviews, Platts has decided to expand the loading ports for European paraxylene, toluene and styrene spot assessments to reflect FOB ARA, effective from March 1, 2012.
