SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to change daily dealer molybdenum oxide assessment

Following a public feedback period, S&P Global Platts will include Tianjin, China, bonded warehouse transactional information in its daily dealer molybdenum oxide price assessment from March 1, 2017.

With increasing volumes of business reported in east Asia, this decision is in response to market research and feedback from market participants. It follows a proposal note on the subject published January 5, 2017.

With this change, Platts will include in-warehouse Tianjin transactional information in US dollars meeting the assessment specification.

Existing locations for reported prices and volumes include in-warehouse Rotterdam, CIF Japan, in-warehouse Busan, CIF India and delivered USA.
