SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes change to NWE RED biodiesel specification

Platts requests feedback on a proposal to change the specification for Northwest European biodiesel compliant with the EU's Renewable Energy Directive to include only material registered under one of the EU voluntary schemes and not material registered only with one of the member states' national schemes. This change is proposed to take effect from May 1, 2014. This change would affect the following assessments, as well as any new NWE RED biodiesel assessments introduced in the future: AAWGH00 - Biodiesel FAME -10 (RED) FOB ARA Barge AAWGI00 - Biodiesel FAME 0 (RED) FOB ARA Barge AAWGJ00 - Biodiesel SME (RED) FOB ARA Barge AAWGK00 - Biodiesel RME (RED) FOB ARA Barge Please send comments and feedback by April 1, 2014, to europe_ags@platts.com and pricegroup@platts.com.
