Platts launches weekly average prices for Asia thermal coal assessments on Jan 29

S&P Global Platts has launched the weekly averages for Asia thermal coal price assessments from Jan. 29, 2021.

The published weekly averages offer the market a direct comparison across Platts global suite of daily and weekly thermal coal price assessments, and weekly price fluctuations.

Platts has published the four FOB Kalimantan assessments in Coal Trader International and will continue to observe market demand and consult feedback to publish the other Asia thermal coal assessments as the market develops.
