SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts clarifies unit of measurement for US chlor-alkali assessments

Platts clarifies that US spot domestic caustic soda on an ex-plant basis is assessed weekly in US dollars/dry short ton.

Additionally, the chlorine and caustic soda domestic contract prices, also assessed on an ex-plant basis in US dollars/dry short ton, are assessed on the first Tuesday of the month.

These assessments are published on Platts Petrochemical Alert pages 243 and 393 as well as in Solventswire.
