Subscriber note: Platts to launch Algeciras low sulfur bunker assessments

Following its subscriber note of December 10, 2012, Platts confirms that it begin publishing assessments for low sulfur 380 and 180 CST bunker fuel in Spain's port of Algeciras with effect from February 1, 2013. The assessments will be published alongside the existing Platts assessments for high sulfur 380 and 180 CST bunker fuel in Algeciras. Algeciras bunker fuel assessments are published on a delivered basis. These new assessments will be found on Platts Global Alert page 1860, in Platts Bunkerwire, and in the Platts price assessments database under their respective codes of AAXDA00 Bunker FO 180 CST 1.5% Dlvd Algeciras and AAXCZ00 Bunker FO 380 CST 1.5% Dlvd Algeciras. Platts will also begin publishing the monthly averages for the new assessments on Platts Global Alert page 1861 with effect from March 1, 2013 and under their respective codes of Bunker FO 380 CST 1.5% Dlvd Algeciras MAvg and AAXDA03 Bunker FO 180 CST 1.5% Dlvd Algeciras MAvg.
