SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to discontinue several duplicate UK power and gas symbols

Following industry consultation, S&P Global Platts has decided to discontinue several duplicate symbols for UK power and natural gas prices from February 3, 2017.

The symbols to be discontinued are listed below and are published under Market Data categories EE and EG. The duplicate UK gas prices are published on European Power Alert page 614 and Natural Gas Alert page 805, as well as in Market Data category EG.

The duplicate UK power prices are published on European Power Alert page 33 and in Market Data category EE. Associated dynamic symbols in market data category PE will also be discontinued.

Identical prices can be found behind symbols listed at the end of this subscriber note.
